The external temperature sensor improves the measuring accuracy significantly.
The internal sensor is located directly on the PCB inside the housing of the APP-control. The measured temperature will be higher then the actual temperatur.
If the APP-control is mounted behind a cover, it will take a long time until the temperature inside the housing reaches the temperature of the passenger compartment.
The external sensor has a accuracy of 1 degree and can be mounted at a place where the actual temperature can be measured.
The external temperatur sensor is suitable for all DANHAG APP-control with 4-pin auxiliary connector.
configuration
After connecting the external temperature sensor, you still need to activate it.
To do this, send an SMS with the following content to the control unit in the vehicle:
12345;35=1;#

Installation
The external temperature sensor is connected to the 4-pin auxiliary connector at the rear side of the APP-control.
If you want to use the external temperature sensor and the GPS-receiver simultaneously, you will need a Y-cable.
Configuration
After connecting the external temperature sensor you will have to activate the sensor by sending a SMS with following content to the APP-control:
12345;35=1;#
"12345" represents the choosen password. The default password after a reset is "12345".
