DANHAG adapter cable heater-blower to second battery

The interior blower is connected to the starter battery by factory.

Depending on the blower level, the interior blower has a current consumption of approx. 2 to 30A. If you operate the upgraded auxiliary heater for longer periods, e.g. when camping, we therefore recommend connecting it to the second battery.
The original positive lead on the blower motor plug is unplugged and our adapter lead is connected to it. The adapter cable is then routed to the second battery under the driver's seat.

Note: In the VW T6 with Climatic, the interior blower can be connected to either the starter or second battery using the wiring harness supplied with the auxiliary heater upgrade. An additional adapter cable is not necessary.

Another major consumer in parking heater mode is the auxiliary heater. We therefore recommend connecting it to the second battery here too. You can also find the appropriate connection cable in the accessories section of the store.

DANGER TO LIFE !

This product is used to switch an existing parking heater with a mobile device (cell phone, tablet, etc.).
ATTENTION: Parking heaters cause toxic exhaust fumes during operation! NEVER operate the parking heater in closed rooms, there is an acute DANGER TO LIFE!

The app-control uses the Short Message Service (SMS) of the mobile phone operator to control the heater. The SMS messages are sent by the mobile network operator. Depending on the utilization of the mobile phone network and the reception quality at the location of the vehicle, it may happen that the SMS is delivered with a delay, that the SMS is delivered with a delay. In this case, the switching command is also implemented with a time delay.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This product may only be used by persons who have reached the age of majority in accordance with the applicable law in the respective country within the scope of the EU Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and are in full possession of their mental faculties and have fully read and understood the installation and operating instructions without outside help.

This product is connected in the vehicle with a connecting cable. There is a DANGER of getting caught on the cable, falling or strangulation.

This product is supplied with power via the vehicle battery. The power consumption depends on the mobile phone reception. In places with poor reception (e.g. underground car park), the power consumption is increased. Disconnect the product from the power supply if you do not use the vehicle for a longer period of time (2 weeks) to reduce the risk of a harmful deep discharge of the vehicle battery.

INTENDED USE

Only use the product for the intended use specified in the operating instructions. Do NOT use the product to switch devices that could be dangerous if the control unit malfunctions. In particular, DO NOT use the product for switching life support systems or in aerospace applications.

This product is NOT a toy.

This product contains small parts (SIM card holder, unlocking tool) that can be swallowed or inhaled. Ensure that the product is stored or installed out of the reach of children.

This product is NOT suitable for consumption. Traces of nuts and pulses may be present.
