The "level of difficulty" gives you an indication of the time, knowledge and tools required for installation in your vehicle.

Regardless of the vehicle, you have to configure the APP control once after installation. You will find a detailed description of this in the operating instructions for your device under the item "configuration".


straight forward

No special knowledge or tools are required for installation.

The app-control is connected just "plug & play" to the existing connectors of the vehicle using the included y-cable. Possibly, a cover must be removed to access the connector. 

This variant is particularly suitable for leasing vehicles because no changes need to be made to the vehicle and the app-control can be removed at any time.

  • Time required: approx. 1/2 hour
  • Expertise: none
  • Tools: screwdriver if necessary



No special knowledge is required for the installation, but a little manual skill.

The app-control is simply connected "plug & play" to an existing connector in the vehicle. In contrast to "easy", the connector is more difficult to access and several covers may have to be removed.

This variant is also very well suited for leasing vehicles, since no changes need to be made to the vehicle and the control can be removed at any time.

  • Time required: 1-2 hours
  • Expertise: basic skills
  • Tools: screwdriver, plastic assembly lever if necessary



The app-control is connected directly in the vehicle using the cable set provided. Depending on the vehicle, several panels in the interior and, if necessary, the underbody paneling must be loosened and various cables must be laid.
The cables are connected using crimp and / or solder connections.

This variant is not entirely suitable for leasing vehicles.

  • Time spent: an afternoon with a coffee break
  • Expertise: manual skills, basics of electrical engineering
  • Tools: well-stocked tool box, if necessary ramps / lift
